1972 Vega GT - no kick panel vent doors?

Postby corvairdog » Fri Sep 19, 2014 7:53 am

I just picked up a 72 Vega GT hatchback. My first car was a 71 and I remember it having the classic chevy vent doors on the kick panels. This one doesn't have them. It just has a blank panel where the vent doors should be. Is it because this car was equipped with a/c?

Those vented panels show up for sale occasionally, here and ebay. I swapped a set into my A/C equipped '73 GT.
