I loved your adventures with that car. I wish I had one like it. Any progress on the wagon?

Dwight do you still have an H? I haven't seen you on here in a while. Like the frantic call to Mr. Hamberger from McDonalds, "Come Back We Need You!" Harry

Great adventures in that car. Miss it already. This forum was like a second home for me.
I still have 2 Kammback projects .... no progress.

The silver '72 Wagon is still a work in progress (head swap).
The white '73 Wagon is forever stalled. Probably gonna remove the aftermarket/upgrades from it to use on the '72. Just too much stuff going on and no incentive to work on them much anymore.

I robbed the modified early trans crossmember from the silver car to get the blue hatchback mobile to sell it.
Now I have to fab up another one to fit the T-50 trans ... may go with the T-5 I have available.
Then I'll have to pull the head bolts on the 215 V8, as i don't feel comfortable with the potential lack of RTV sealant that is required for them to seal.....

But first, the '81 Trans Am will be getting any available attention these coming months (trans rebuild & broken exhaust manifold bolt).

I've been down with a back issue for several months ... still doing therapy 3 days a week. Just don't feel like bending over a fender or lifting anything just yet.
Maintenance stuff is piling up and I don't want to address anything yet .... so, I sent the blue car to a guy that will appreciate it and care for it better than I can. :(

The last drive ....
Returning from the 100% gas station after filling the tank.
I short shifted the awesome 2300 out of respect for the new owner and to showcase it's awesome torque.

I never opened the diff to verify ratio, but the guy i bought it from said his dad swapped a more highway friendly resr into it back in the 80s (power glide sucked).
So I always assumed it was a 2.9x, or 2.5x ratio.
Whatever it was, it pulled great and the 0.8 overdrive worked good at speed.
