Temp idiot light

Postby Chief_Runs_W_Coyotes » Tue Sep 29, 2020 4:31 pm

Had mine come on today while accelerating, temp was in between 100 and 220, you know the mark. It went off as quick as it came on. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it a sign of a bigger problem?

if it was the coolant light that flickered it is because the coolant level is falling below that of the sender in the radiator when acceleration. fill the overflow reservoir and it will pull the coolant into the radiator. the filler neck on radiator is not the highest point in system so you end up with air pocket in system.
