Here ya go Art. I have no idea the height of the FG05F but shouldn't be hard to shorten for your Vega tank. Looks like the alignment tabs are clocked differently also so dunno how it works out with the Vega tank.

thanks zeke. im also gonna look back at summitts page as they sell a few by Dorman and a bunch by AC Delco. may find one even closer than the fit you came up with. ill let you know what a find.. PS how can i test the one from my vega to see if the sender for fuel level still works. pump will not be used. thanks Art
