Gas cap

Postby yfz450man » Sat Jan 16, 2021 8:17 pm

I looked but couldn’t really find a definitive answer my 1980 Spyder when I got the car it had the small chrome gas cap def. not factory! So I ordered the stant correct sized one reindexed it, but my question is with it being a Spyder should it be color coded with the car ? Chrome just kinda looks silly
Thank you

You are correct, the Monza Hatchbacks had a color matched gas cap installed at the factory I don't think that style has been available new for many many years.
Good used would be the only supply (Or NOS if you could find one)
