I was looking to do something similar, the spare wheelwell is rotted out anyway, so I was thinking I could just flatten the trunk area out, and install a larger tank. I was hoping to get something closer to 20 gallons, has anyone done this? Or has anyone seen an aluminum fuel cel that could be hooked to the stock filler hole? everything i'm finding fills in the center of the top, which obviously won't work unless I drag it on the ground behind the car.

Yes I too read that someone used camaro tank and you can buy one already made for fuel injection. So very nice upgrade. Oh and it didn't hang down from under the car like a stock tank.
