Hi

Good to here from you!

Yes, the LTD is on the road but, I have some items to get worked out. It is fun to drive!

I have not worked on the Vega that much although my friend has. We don't have any cool stuff to report yet. All we are doing now is just a lot of welding up stuff and sanding in preparation for paint.

It was good to here that you ran the Vega and 155 sounds good, Is that what you expected?

Home made fan shroud, caveman style for sure, but should work fine, also home made engine mounts burned in for good.

See pic 011, Shroud fits snug into the bottom universal bracket that overlaps a little bit towards the core, fits in snug along the side tanks, at the top there are two stainless steel screws with aviation nuts at the top rail above the core on either end, will seal all edges with RTV to seal it up good as to pull all air possible through the core.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the blue stuff that you used on the shroud (It looks like part of a blanket to me?)?

It is fleece fabric. It is a great base fabric for doing fiberglass as it stretches and molds to your frame work unlike the fiberglass it self. All you do is add the fiberglass resins strait to the fabric.

Thank you for being kind enough to explain that to me. I have been looking for something like to do my 74 to 71 conversion nose but did not know that it existed. Where can I purchase it at?

A fabric store is a good place and Home Depot for the rest.
