it looks to me that you will be working on the car for a while before it hits the road :)

cutting rust out is never fun ,it tends to make you get a little bored at times (lets face it there is only so many pictures of rust we can all take ,trust me i know !!!)

Looks like you are attacking the car and removing all of that Canadian tin worm (want me to send you some more )

just remember where everything goes (i will be finding out real soon if i do :)

do not lose patience with the resto one day you will put some paint on it and in 1 day it will look like you have done more work to the car than all the months you have been working prepping it for paint :)

also think that we forget and get so tied up in our own projects we forget to comment on others that are happening :(

it looks like you built a pretty good patch peice from the last picture

i actually enjoy repairing rust its a challenge to build the peices you need and when i get it done and it looks good it makes me feel great

i have a wagon i plan on cutting up this spring that might have good floor boards that i don't need

i am cutting the rear wheel well arches out of it to repair the ones on my 72 gt other than them the main tub of the body is available for peices but it would have to wait for warmer wether if you want any parts
second star to the right strait on till morning

Looks pretty good to me. One thing you can do is get some weld-tru primer and prime the areas that are rusty or bare that won't get painted. If you do get that primer shop around. When I worked at NAPA a guy bought some from 3M and it was 20 some bucks for a spray can. I got looking around and found it alot cheaper but I forget who made it.

Looks pretty good. Just remember, if you start to burn through, stop. My biggest mistake when I started welding was trying to fill the hole as I was burning through. It don't work that way, just makes the hole bigger. And nobody like too big of a hole.
