LOL no owrries on having twins, i'm planning on painting the car silver or blue someday...

A previous owner hammered clearence into the heater box so I removed it and smoothed the firewall... The cage was alot of work to "hide" it the way i did. I spec'd out the rear seat bars when I ordered the cage from S&W to clear the back seat for the kids. The front windshield bars I would have done different If I had a tubing bender, those are the only two bars i didn't like how they came out.

That's the way the calipers came from autozone.

I don't remember the brand, it was almost a year ago I bought them. I usually buy the lifetiem warranty stuff, so see what have with a lifetime warranty.

Great job!! Love this car, it is put together really well, stance is so cool also!

I have printed many of the pictures from this post to keep for future reference, your front cross-member is well done. Your car has so many things the way I wish they were on my car.

The front a-arm install looks good as well, especially with the coilovers. The adjustable arms are the way to go, now that mine are in, I'm really sorry I got the non-adjustable.

Who's coilover shocks are those up front? Size, spring rate, part number?

3-piece rear spoiler is cool, I guess that is a hard to find item...wish those were repoped by someone

Thanks everyone...

The rear spoiler I snagged cheap off ebay after someone on here posted a link to it.

The coil overs are QA1 pro coil conversion for a 67-69 Camaro with 250 lb springs. Here is a link to summit racing... http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... toview=sku

An update has been LONG over do. I have minitubbed the rear, narrowed the rearend and installed a 69 Camaro fuel tank. Here is a link to the minitub thread, don't want to repost everything there. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=27198 I'm working on updating that thread now with the finished pics and notes. If all goes well, I will be registering my Vega tomorrow and be able to finally get some pics of it out on the road.

One other thing I have done is converted the lift springs for the hatch to the piston style lift. I had to do this because the lift spring arms were hitting the batery in the corner. I like this set up much better too, looks better.

Finally got some seat time after 3 long years of building. Put about 160 miles on with no major problems. Found out the wiper motor and turn signal switch went bad after sitting all winter. No big deal, already got them replaced. Only other problem is it won't pass inspection cuz everyone thinks my little 8.5-1 compression 350 is too loud. Hopefully when I finish the tailpipes next week that will quiet it down enough to pass.
