Thanks. The front crossmember should be done today and the paint in the engine bay should be done by this weekend. Finally making some real good progress.

Finished up the K member last night and painted it. Also finished painting the engine bay this morning. I can now start doing some assembly, plumbing and wiring in the engine bay.

I like that K member. Does it hang lower than stock though?

Yes it does. If you look at the pic I have with the yellow oil pan you can kinda see its almost even witht he bottom of the pan. The moroso H body pans still hangs below this crossmember though.

I guess it'll serve as protection for the pan though.

I'll stick the block in with each pan and get a pic of how low the crossmember sits to the pan.

I've got more pics of the K member with the block in with a stock pan and a moroso H body pan. The stock pan sits 1/2" above the bottom of the K member and the moroso 1/2" below. There is tons of clearence between the K member and the pan where the notch os to fit a stock K member.

Quick update. Front brakes, front suspension, rims and tires, front sheetmetal, spoilers, hood scoop are all done, engine is in and runnig also. I need to get the tranny back this week, get my 12 bolt from my parents house and get rear brakes and a driveshaft and the car will be on the road. I still need to take pics of most of it but here are some of the brakes and suspension.

Here the nose is the nose and front spoiler done. It's a rod n race spoiler and doesn't fit well in the middle where the 2 pieces meet, but it's close enough for me. Also, I mounted the battery in the spare tire well and used a battery kill switch with a handle the runs out the back of the rear valance to push off. This way, I can take the handle off when not racing and no one will know it was there.

Forgot to mention all this was after putting the car in storage for 2 months so my soon to be ex wife couldn't touch it, moving twice and finally taking the car back out of storage to a 2 car garage. Much nicer than the tiny one car garage I started out in.
