Well not much progress but I did get started again. Im done chasing Whitetails with a bow for the year so now its car time again. The ancient Firestone polyester 6.00 15L were dry cracked and one did not hold air anymore. I needed to be able to roll the car around again so the Jackstands had to go. Picked up the new BF Goodrich radial TA's in 155 80r 15" and got em on today. now I need new lugnuts for the big meats in the back.

hope you checked the seal on the wheels , they are known for the seal leaking , and you just gotta clean out the old silicone and put in new stuff

Hey thanks ill keep that in mind but later down the road. The rims are still like new, never have seen the road yet. The silicone still looked great in them :th: The tires that I took off had alot of cracks in them. they were given to me years ago from a buddy drag car. They just served as rollers for me but looked unsafe to drive on.

vega ron just spray or brush a little soapy water around the center hole and the bolt holes if they are leaking youll see bubbles. ive seen brand new centerline wheels leak thru the sealant.

actually I did do this with the old tires, they were leaking bad out of the tire cracks :( I can see where the centerlines would be prone to the silicone leaking,,,thanks guys

Slow progress but its happening anyway. Just hate working in the cold,,brrrrrr
Things I have done lately.

Got my new Morose oil pump pickup and installed it.... Moroso 24350 part #

Took out the brake and clutch pedals, and now have the new Brake pedal for the automatic ready go in (still drying in fresh paint) after a good sandblasting.

Got the S-10 master cylinder cleaned up, sandblasted and painted the bracket and cleaned up the distribution block.

Opened up the hole on the firewall for the master cylinder and will be modifying the old Vega MS pedal rod to work with it.

Installed the new chrome Dip stick and tube in the block.

Got a New HEI distributer on the way from E-bay

Got my new open end lugnuts by centerline for the rear and got them on now.

A little progress with the S-10 Master cylinder. I made a brake rod retainer cup that slides into the opened up hole and over the MS studs. Its made from Exhaust pipe scrap courtasy of exhaust shop  A fender washer and a thin piece of metal for a flange.
Image
I also shortened the stock Vega brake rod by 1/4" and tigged back together
Image
I wanted to use the stock bracket from the S-10 for the prop valve. It hit the fender well so I moved the block on the other side of the bracket, and had to use stand off spacers made from stainless tube to get it away from the well and allow room for the brake lines the the wheel cylinders. I used stainless bolts as well :th:
Image
I will make some new lines later for the MS to the prop valve
