73 VEGA notchback

Postby 73 VEGA » Mon Oct 06, 2008 11:58 pm

Well I though it was time to finish this 15 year old project. I found the car in a garage with a busted block, (very low miles) got the car free. My gold was to install a 350, 350 turbo, tubs with a 9 inch rear, and a cage. The cage, tubs, and 9 inch rear was installed 5 years ago. The car was sent to paint shop, after 4 years the car was painted. It looked like crap, so I brought the 73 back to my shop. I am going to paint it as soon as I finish instaling the rear spoiler. Future plans are to do the S-10 Front end upgrade, beef up k-member, 76 Caddy master cylinder, L-88 hood, front spoiler, then build and install the power plant. Here are a few pictures of what is done so far. I will up date pictures as I go on. Ken Jackson Tn

COOL! You don't see many early notchbacks. It really looks like it needs a chop top or something LOL! Really cool project.

yeah!!! Chopping the top would be Cool!!! Get the windshield to lay down a little bit!! It adds a sinister kind of look to things!!
