Looking good.
Don't know if you or someone else has thought about this, but what if you made the 2 stripes into one large stripe?

Hi,
i'd say just leave it white and put engine size on the sides in black.

Hi,
with the heat off the motor, it wouldn't be wet long.

Clint,
I love it.

Make it a free breather but putting in an early shaker kickdown flapper in it.

Too late - Ive already got the breather figured out.

Image

Made a piece to cover the bottom of the top part, then found a decent size breather that would fit inside it. Ive got some hold down that will swing over and clamp the breather down.

This is a shot looking from inside the scoop from the back. Once I seal all the edges from the aluminum to the shaker scoop, I will be ready for some paint.

Got the Shaker ready for paint. Planning on doing it this week. Maybe have it back in a couple weeks. Lots of pics when I get the shop cleaned up and have room to take pics.

I agree with Len - do black paint for the yellow part of the hood that is between the white stripes and paint the scoop black.
Looks great no matter what you do. Good work!

Took the driver side fender off to have a spot of rust fixed. Should have the fender back tomorrow from the body shop.
