TOTALED!!! well folks the vega is out of circulation now,, I slid into a fence with a concrete lower section about 3 feet high,, it creased the entire pass side front to back,, I have lots of stuff for sale,, pm me with your needs,, if I have it and it's good I will sell,, right now the dash pad is on ebay and the front seats are on facebook marketplace,,I can't thank everyone here for all your help on this long build,, I only got to enjoy it for 3800 miles.. I am so sad about this, but cars can be replaced..Thanks again tinker

Another shell can be found, still quite a few Vega HB's out there [more than Monza's near me it seems anyway] I don't think I would bail now unless it had become time for a change. Are you willing to share "what the F :censored: :cuss: K went wrong. Glad your Ok either way, Stay in touch with us would you? The place just won't be the same with you! Harry

Tinker, sorry to hear that. I agree with Harry, if you haven't decided on a new and different path, give it some time, h-bodies are hard to get fully out of your system and you already have many of the parts to put another one together.

That's nothing half a Vega couldn't fix. Maybe you can find one that has been messed up on the driver's side.
I would just mothball it for a year or so and see what shakes out of the grape vine. A lot of guys do that unintentionally.

I agree with the others, keep it. Another car will be around the corner and all the conversion work should bolt in. The body and paint would be your biggest expense.

Actually, I'm guilty of doing that with my Nova. Twenty years to get it on the road.
