hey Robert, did you section and reinstall the front header panel support now that you moved the radiator up in front of the core support?

Just two small notches cut into it for clearance. The radiator is rubber mounted and does not
touch the body at all. its a small radiator but it has 1-1/4 tubes and its a double pass.

hey robert i remember reading that the double pass radiators are great but they require a real good water pump, maybe like a hp miledon or one along those lines. keep up the good work art

Hey art , I will be using those control arm tubes for my lower control arms from you.
pics coming soon. Im using an electric water pump that will have the water churning.

I boxed my control arms but have decided to go with these instead. Thank you Chevy art for the lower control arms.

Painted the back half of the car and all the related parts so I can put the rear end in.

Dang, when people say to you "keep the shinny side up" you are not going to know what to do are you?

I put the rear end in. It still needs to be fine tuned.

looks really good rocco! i see you made up brackets to raise up the upper control arms, i need to do the same. do you have any good drawings with measurements for what you did?

I don't have any measurements for them. With all the stock control arms on I centered the rear end set the pinion angle with the upper arms unbolted from
rear end. Then I made the pieces out of 3/16" bolted them to the control arms,clamped them to the rear end with needle nose vise grips and tacked them on.
Then I took the rear end out and welded everything up also added some gussets for strength. Plug welded original control arm mounting holes.
I raised the upper arms 2 1/2".

how much did you raise the mounting points from the stock holes? im curious to see if there would be a difference with how much they are raised between an auto trans and the t5, my car used to be an auto trans and would never wheel hop just burn rubber and now with the t5 in there the dang thing wheel hops like crazy as soon as the tires break loose even if im in first gear and rolling along at 2500 to 3000 rpm and snap it to the floor! id just like to try to get it right the first time when i raise the arms. p.s everything is new back there,shocks ,upper and lower control arms etc.
