Joel's '75 Vega wagon

I traded my '99 extended cab GMC Sierra for this '75 all original Vega wagon, $1500 and a ton of new performance parts. I sold a 9" center section and bought a 400ci long block. I'm going to cut the firewall out and make it flush with the cowl then raise the motor about 3" and back 5".



My plans are to make it a late 70's street machine/drag car. Here's a quick sketch I drew of how it's going to look...



Here's the motor after I got the long block and set all my goodies on it



and after I started cleaning it up and assembling



Now that the weather is starting to cool down here in AZ, I will be making more progress soon!

Thanks for the nice words guys! No I got this one from a friend over a year ago. I did see that one on craigslist recently though. I also have some parts available in the 'For Sale' section...
