Work so far on the 4.1 install. That's a '79 Turbo Regal Q-jet. I'll get it right then tear it down and pretty up the eng. compartment. Went in just fine after I figured out that the motor mounts were reversed.
Also is a pic of the '85 Sunbird Steering wheel I found.

Got the upper control arm ball joint holes opened up for the S-10 ball joints. Opened them up to the rear and out like I saw on a post somewhere. Just have to drill the bolt holes and bolt the joints in. Before that I'm going to smooth the edges with a sanding drum in my Dremel tool and POR-15 the arms. Then get new bushings and clean up the nuts, washers and bolts.

Got the front LCA's off the donor Monza disassembled finally. Got to get them cleaned up and have to get and have installed the S-10 ball joint sleeves. Gotta clean up the bolts and nuts too. The lca's on my Sunbird now don't have the sway bar mounts.

Cool man. Good to see someone who got one and cared about it. You need a 70's firebird steering wheel on there. But the one from the 90's bird seems like a decent upgrade.

Looks like it has a decent body.

Now I know generally how to go about getting the LCA's off my Bird. I have a second set of UCA's modded with the S-10 ball joints. And a second set of rear arms that I want to box in like on the you tube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4kW0pFSW6Y
The only rust on it is in the pass. rear wheel-well and a little under the windshield. Not bad for a 49K mile car. Having time to work on is the biggest obstacle. Got a set of 5 14x6 Snowflake 5 lug rims to go on it too.
Marco, I haven't forgotten about the red door handle.
