Hello everyone.

My name is Erik I live in Norway, for those of you who already know me hello aigain.
Yes I still have my custome 74 Vega Wagon.
Just that when building a house, becomming a dad, moving and changing company in the same year thigs can ba a bit buzzy...
Currently building a garage, finishing off the house, dad to a 2 year old kind of take some time.

But I still squize in some building vega time.
So last winter I rebuild the lower control arm so the spindle will have the caster it was made for.
And the steering arm agle is better.
This winter widening the rear track with to be closer to the front.

Still batteling with the ackerman angle hope somebody here has some grate ideas about that.

Here are som images.

Here is a picture from Speed Week end on Ice Orsa in Sweden 2011.

We did a 212,4km/h avrage run over 1000mtr with only 1000mtr to accelerate on Ice.
Used WRC studed tires with 384 studs 8mm long in eache tire, greate traction but they have insane rolling resistance.

Enjoy

Now 2 day of christmas dinner at my mom and dad's

Erik,
Excellent craftsmanship!
I still like what you did with the front end. You took something kind of ugly (Oh boy I can feel the flames already  ) & made it sweet looking!

Yep! Very nice! :th: :th:

I thought I remembered that car. Haven't seen it for what...10 ...11 years. On Bobs site, right? Yeah! Still looks great.

Love the front end. What is it? Volvo? Opel? BMW?

Anyway, thanks for dropping in. Good to see you are still around and with such a sweet ride. Good for you.

Sport looks fun.

cheers, jer

Yep still me with the same car.

Thank's for the kind words.

Well things happed since last.
Lost my jobb, almost lost my cars, started a new career worked my way up, got lucky inheret som property, built a house while becomming parrents kind of takes it's toll... but I am stil married to the same wife
So with the Vega 100km away in my dads garage kind of slows things downn.

Front end is Toyota 4Runner with lower part is a rear bumper from VW Nothback.
Not very happy with the area between the bumper and wheel arches og the lower part under the doors...

But me and my best friend have some greate ideas to redo the body when the chassi is sorted out aigain.
