Keeping the powder blue exterior? Nice project eh!

Im torn between the blue and adding black yenko stripes, or doing a complete color change that will require changing the interior color to black. Im leaning more towards staying with the blue because of funds.

The oilpan is a ebay china piece. It's pretty good quality for the money. You have to make a pick up for it though.

Is there enough hood clearance to use the truck intake manifold?

Not to jump in on someone else's thread, but no chance of the truck manifold clearing the hood. I have my engine sitting in the car and the manifold is almost as high as the tops of the fenders
