Where did you find that oil pan? Looks like it fits in there pretty nice

The oilpan is a ebay china piece. It's pretty good quality for the money. You have to make a pick up for it though.

Is there enough hood clearance to use the truck intake manifold?

Not to jump in on someone else's thread, but no chance of the truck manifold clearing the hood. I have my engine sitting in the car and the manifold is almost as high as the tops of the fenders
