Polyester is a type of thermoplastic, could mean anything. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyester

Great disaster !

The children play basketball and ...
Yes, the model is completely broken .
So, never mind, I make a new one and a better one .
I start with better glue and smaller balsa wood .
Also I spend more time in the calculation .
I check every single piece and correct where necessary .

And the garagedoor stay closed when the children have no school .

Hi all,

It was a good choice to take smaller balsa wood, it works much better .
1 meter long (standard) 10, 15 or 20 mm wide and 2 mm thick .
I use now UHU hart glue and it works great .

The spoiler looks now already better than the Original .

Spoiler fabrication looking good. Using the OE corners?

A high of 23c expected for today where I am.

Parts of western Canada are smoking hot though at roughly the same latitude as Belgium.

Don't melt eh. 8)

Here a pic from a few days ago .
It is still rough .
A few boards (i hope this is the good word) on the front and the back .
Then I can start with sanding .
The top is to high, so I need to remove +/- 1 centimeter .
I gonna use the original extension spoilers left and right, they are in a good conditioning .

Tomorrow is the hottest day, and next week we gonna have normal summer temperatures (22-25°) .

The fiberglass work is done, the fenders are painted in primer coat .

And today I have installed the both fenders .

Tomorrow, after 19 months, I'm ready to assemble the nose .

Then it looks again like a Monza .

Fenders back on helps it to look more like a car eh. :D

Looking forward to see how you finish the rear spoiler project also.

Are you keeping the factory door edge guard trim? Missing any pieces?

Indeed Chris, a car without fenders is like a woman without :censored: (lol)
I stop for the moment with the rear spoiler,
because I sell my house and of course I need another house with a huge garage .
So this days I fix the nose, its easier for the moving .

What I do with the factory door edge guard trim ?
I dont know yet , In Antwerp we say : "Comes time, comes advice'

sometimes start, sometimes not .
Crancking is OK .
I have translated and I have studied the whole diagnose procedure .
So when I have time ...
