Kevin if you are using the same "Rad" just boil it now, saves it from the I thought I did it list of things that invariably slip through the cracks during/after the build. You can remove some of the "Calcification" from your rad yourself with some "LimeAway" or "CLR", I would think it will be cheaper and or better to send it out myself. And as for your seats I know they are a real personal preference thing, but the stock H-Body still are my favourite seat for combination of comfort and support. I think you are on the right track with your suspension colour approach a little contrast with a "planned theme" is going to please you and the "Throng of Onlookers" every where you stop with your ride! And your 'Bird is looking GOOD! Harry

Thanks, Harry! I'm not sure I'm keeping the same radiator. I am doing the LS3 swap so I am not sure what radiator I'll need yet. If it is the same, maybe I will just go ahead and do that now! I was thinking the clutch on the fan may be shot too.

On the seats, I do plan to just recover them at this point. Larry's Safari has the same seats. He recovered his and they look, and feel, awesome. I got to see them first hand at the H-Body show in Quaker City.

I have been fortunate but I am looking forward to the work ahead on these projects!

The 1980 is all original with rare options like the Vista Vent sunroof, rear speaker and a really rare (1.5% of 1980 Sunbird production) G80 Posi. It is just going to get a bit of body work, a repaint, and an engine bay clean up. The interior is really nice. Just need to touch up a few things in there. Seats are in excellent condition with no holes, burns, or tears.

Wow! Thanks, Vegavulture! I can't believe I cannot find good factory details or drawings. Still hunting. I'm almost resigned to the fact that I'm not going to find a front valance (unless this one is for sale??). I think I'll have some luck finding a spoiler but no luck yet.

Or maybe I can borrow it to have one replicated in fiberglass?

Just finished getting the hood to close properly, such fun cars to work on. Got her running finally, and what a riot to drive.
I knew the rear panel that holds the licence place was rare but I didn't know the front spoiler were so rare, this one is in decent shape. My other formula doesn't have one so I won't sell this one yet.

The decals are very worn but at least you can see where they are and rough measurements. The other car is missing most of the stripes. This one has most intact. I'm just missing a picture of the back of the spoiler. Now that I have this picture thing working i'll post that one in a few days.

Doug Basher is working on a fiberglass replacement for the Sunbird hatch rear filler panel. He says they are a real pain to make.
