I've been having trouble with a dead battery lately. The battery
seems to accept a charge when I put it on the charger over night so I
think the battery is OK. No problem, I'll put in a new alternator.
When I disconected the battery ground wire the HP fuel pump clicked
off. Connect again and the HP pump clicks back on. THE IGNITION IS
OFF (and the key removed). The Hp pump and who knows what else is
putting a constant drain on the battery when the ignition is off.
Anyone have this trouble before or know what is going on? I was going
to take it on a short road trip Wednesday but I have to figure this
out before I go.
Any help would be appreciated.
Wendell
