Problem changing email

I haven't been getting notices of replies to posts even though I checked the box. Come to find out, my profile has an old, obsolete email address that no longer exists. When I went to the User Control Panel to change the email address to my current one, the system told me the email was already in use. I presume that I have another registration but I don't know how to find it. How can I get my current email tied to my login? How can I find the username that my current email is linked to? Thanks>

I was able to see that I was indeed registered twice, and my latest registration had my correct email. To avoid confustion, is there a way I can delete one of the logins?

There have been some e-mail delivery issues that have taken me an embarrassingly long time to try and solve. I think they are fixed now but time will tell. My apologies.
