I am officially retired woo-hoo

Postby cjbiagi » Wed Jul 27, 2016 3:03 pm

Well after 42 years at Xerox I took my last train ride downtown today. I turned in my tools and laptop and I am officially a "non active employee" until my 41 weeks of severance ends. Fortunately that will be a month past my 62nd birthday. So, I am done!!!!!!!! I have always planned on retiring early and my recent life events over the past year have also made that happen. So, I am very looking forward to it and having more time to do the things I want to do. If anyone has my 312 phone number that is no longer active, for now you will have to rely on email until I get another cell phone.

congrats CJ i really hope you enjoy yourself in retirement. you are still young enough to be real active(just no marathons or iron man competitions) guess you need to get a set of golf clubs, and hope they fit in the monza. art

Well that is GREAT for you, just be careful to pace your "Lazy Time" [well deserved I am sure] and all the time you now have to spend your money! Those two items have ended a perfectly good retirement more than once. Party Time at Clyde's! :bored:  :shenanigans: :woohoo:   :bored:  :shenanigans: :woohoo:  Harry
