Ya, that's what I'm talking about. I could totally do that. 90's are fine is you don't have to work in it and you are sipping a cool one on the beach or at the pool side. I'm assuming you don't have water front but when your on a island the water is never very far away. Salinas looks pretty close to the coast. What's that about 60 minutes from San Juan? Sorry, kinda of a late joiner to this forum, wished I found it and joined earlier. An unmeasurable amount of H body info and most of the members will go way out of there way to help a fellow member with parts or even just some measurements or pictures. I try to help anyone I can here. I bought my first H-Body is 1984, still have that car but she's hurt'in bad. Back in the early late 80's I wasn't driving it (not a very good kid and car seat car), so it sat in the yard for a few years. Then fixed it up for my son's first car, that lasted a couple of years, got really good at engine and transmission swaps, oddly enough, car would run great all week and limp home broken Friday or Saturday night. I had a pretty good idea what was happening, especially since it wasn't just this car, his friends cars were showing up with grenaded motors, fan blades going through hoods etc. He ended the whole weekend warrior racing idea when he ran out of time and money to fix the car after bringing it home sounding a lot more like a diesel than a gas motor. He parked it at the side of my house and believe it or not after sitting completely untouched for 10 years the dam car started up. I had to move it and at first I thought I was going to have to drag it with a rope with my truck, something made me put a battery in it and crank it over, after a few drinks of fuel down the carb it stayed running on whatever 10 year old gas turns into, smelt fairly nasty running, more like varathane than gas. She's quite rusty in bad places, so she has become the donor car for my Monza V8 build I will be starting soon. I have a mostly rust free 80 quad h/l roller, just rust in the doors, one fender and a couple of very tiny other spots, floors and underside are totally rust free. I have acquired a set of rust free doors and a fender and hood (previous owner chopped a half assed hole through the hood for a high rise and air cleaner). So do you have an h-body in P.R., if so did you bring it down with you or buy it there?
