That's it!

It's been a fun ride, but I'm now officially out of the Vega business! The trailer load of parts I had saved up over the last 31 years (and maybe more, since I bought my first V8 Vega in 1976) left yesterday. Well, the only parts I have left are a pair of S-10 spindles with rotors and calipers, 26-spline S-10 axles, and the corresponding offset Centerline Auto Drag 15"x7" front wheels, but those aren't necessarily Vega parts.

I'll be hanging around for a bit, then checking back once in a while. I've met a lot of great folks on this forum, and I hope to run in to some of you again.

So now I'll be riding off in my new ride, my car-truck, a '65 El Camino.

You know Chuck, it never completely leaves you. Every h-body you'll pass will stir the memories. Keep us updated on what you're up to. I think we have another Roundup coming near you in the next couple of years so try and stop by.

Had some great times with Chuck and Teresa at some shows around Chicagoland when they lived here. Hope you and Teresa keep enjoying the ElCamino.

Chuck,

Best of luck to you! Looks like a really nice El Camino. You will have fun with that one, for sure!

Thanks, guys! I've been working out some little tweaks so far. Teresa sold her Mustang a week ago, so now to order the A/C!

Nice El Camino!
That would be a hard decision for me too. Friend had a '64 Chevelle 2dr post years ago when I had a '66 2dr post.
