I keep the aftermarket ones "in stock"; not for H-bodies, but for street rods and muscle cars with electric fuel pumps. I install them for safety as well as to reduce noise; I hate the sound of a fuel pump hammering away with the key on but the engine not running. The H-body may have been the first common usage of this type of oil pressure driven fuel pump switch back in the day of the carburetor, but almost every fuel injected vehicle on the planet now has something similar.
