Thanks to Clyde and everybody

I have been looking at diagrams, now as far as I see all this, it looks like I need the hole system as well as the wiper motor in order to get it to work.

If that is true, I am better of selling my wiper switch and trying to find a aftermarket unit, as I have had that before.

If anybody have use or know of aftermarket units, please respond.

Erik

Any body know, if intermittent system use a different wiper motor

Now as far as I see in a wire-ring diagram, the wiper motor is called a pulsewipermotor, it looks like I need the hole system as well as the wiper motor in order to get it to work.

If that is true, I am better of selling my wiper switch and trying to find a aftermarket unit, as I have had that before.

Erik, as I emailed you I don't see any different motor listed in the GM parts manual for a H body. Some different models do show a different motor but not H bodies as far as I can tell. If you are looking at wiring diagrams for some other makes and models (as I sent you links for) it may be different than H bodies.

Erik you do not need to change the wiper motor. I do have every thing you need ,but by the time I find it you could swim here from Europe (been collecting this stuff for 30 years it has spread out a little LOL). You just need the switch, module with relay and the wiring that should be attached to those pieces, sorry I forget which ones are attached to what, but it was as simple as unplugging the old switch plugging that wire into one end of the module then the relay into the square hole in the top of the module and the new switch into the other end of the module, and finding a nice neat place for it, Merle says over by the ash tray I believe, and Viola! intermittent wipers. Hope this was Helpful Harry

Thanks Harry

Clyde is finding the things for me, so I´ll stay with him.

I am not that good a swimmer, but I am thinking of you for other stuff, as I lived a couple of years - 1977 - 1979 in Grand Bend area and still have a very good friend in the area - Burlington.

He is a truck driver, and he was i Windsor yesterday actually, you see the world is very small these days.

Hi from Erik

Look at the picture I posted under project Journal as progress, picture shows the back of the dash.
To the right of the radio you can see the black box on top of the ash tray mount and the wires going over the top and down to the switch.
You can convert your car to delay without removing the dash, the best
way is to remove the drivers seat so you can lay down and get your hands up under the dash.
Been there, done that.

Hello everybody

You will never believe this - I STARTED DRIVING MY MONZA - YES IT IS TRUE - after a 8 years built – “yes I never have time to do my car problem” - I even got it through the every 8th year mandatory safety control – I have now put about 100 km on it, and is starting to fix small stuff, like moving the steering wheel one spline to the right and locating noises from things hitting other things during driving.

The Intermittent windshield wipers are working, the only problem is - they do 2 passes right after engine start, the system is somehow wired to the starter circuit or something – my electric trunk open system, open the truck at this time as well, so I have to get out and close it before take of – kind of strange

Please help – what is wrong here
Thanks from Erik ( yes it is me (or what is left))
