Bench testing 71 Vega Radio - wiring connections?

Postby corvairdog » Sun Oct 05, 2014 1:57 pm

I have a 71 Vega am radio that I'd like to bench test before installing it. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the connector below?

Thanks.

The radio's 3-pin power plug(on the far right in your pic) has acc 12v+ on the bottom and the upper left is illumination and upper right is ground. Easier for testing to just ground to the metal chassis of the radio.
The narrow 4-pin plug is rear speaker and the wider one is front.

Thank you. I'm sending it out for repair as it doesn't work at all.

Just a couple of side notes before you send that radio off for repair; #1 the AM tuner will pick up nothing without an antenna attached. #2 there aren't very many AM stations left broadcasting; why not just move up to an AM/FM?
