ignition buzzing

My 73 Vega's ignition is buzzing off and on while driving. what is the cause and solution?

Buzzer is intended to buzz/remind you when you leave the keys in the ignition when the ignition is turned off.
The buzzer is under the dash... (google for location)... maybe the connector is loose? Play with it, jiggle the wire and buzzer to see if it is loose.

Possibly the key isn't seating all the way in there. Worn out.
Do you, or did the previous owner, use a gawdy, unsightly, heavy wad of excess keys on their keychain? Will ruin an ignition switch out in a few years, if so.
