Tach interchanges possible?

Postby 75Monz » Wed Jun 13, 2018 2:59 pm

Since factory tachs are so hard to find, I was wondering if anyone had info on other GM tachometers in the 70's that were shaped really close, enough to modify into the cluster and mount the small fuel gauge behind. Looking at pictures of mid to late 70's GM square body truck clusters, gauge looks really close.
Some people are like slinkies. They serve absolutely no useful purpose, but still put a smile on your face when pushed down a flight of stairs.

Is your '75 a "Notch" or "Hatch" I have forgotten :bang: ? Notch would be what Smiley said (maybe as he also said), and for hatches they aren't any where near impossible you will find one if you look here and on "Facebook" I surmise Harry
