I have a 1976 Vega and want to install a Chevy S10 rear axle, your brackets are for upper and lower torsion arms mine only uses lower torsion arms. Don't know where you are located but if you can call me at 407-744-1313 my name is Henry or email handy2dr@gmail.com

The S10 axle housing has no provision for mounting a torque arm so it is not a good swap for a 76 Vega.
you may have a 6.5 or a 7.5 rear from the factory.
if you have a 7.5 all you need is S10 axles to swap into the Vega 7.5.
If you have a 6.5 then the best option is to use a 7.5” housing from a Vega or Monza with S10 axles.
the 82-88 2wd S10 axles will work in the 7.5 Monza/Vega carrier,
to use the later 28 spline 10 axles you need to swap the carrier from the rear and pull the axles out of.

Sorry for some reason I misplace your email. We had spoken a while ago about some brackets for a 76 Vega that I was going to install a Chevy S10 axle, since then i have purchased a Camaro 3rd generation axle that has the long torsion bar from trans to rear axle same as the 76, You had mentioned that you needed the axle tube diameter it is 2 5/8 inches. if you can give me the price again I would appreciate.
