The time has come to pass the torch. I've owned this car for 30 years, now it is time for someone else to enjoy it. Long-time members are probably familiar with it. It's a '73 Vega that has had a V8 in it since 1974, at 8k miles, I purchased it in 1988. I've made many mods and improvements over the years, here is a list of them:

Chuck,

I have had a few cars I wish I never got rid of over the years. Of course, if I would have kept the first one I still think about, others would have never happened. But to have one for 30 years, wow, I would have a hard time letting it go. Are you sure you want to go ahead with this? Do you have something in mind to replace all those memories? I don't think I could do this.

Wow, shocked to see you are selling it after all these years. I have seen this car up close as we have been in several shows together. This is really a great car at a great price.

Clyde,

We'd like to get pared down to one classic that both Teresa and I agree on - with A/C!

Guys,

The problem is that I don't have a lot of room between the grille and radiator for both pusher fans and a condenser. I've already done some packaging to get the trans cooler up there.

Well, if he does complete the sale, he's getting a great, well done, Chevy Vega but I also know you're going to miss it.

Yes, Dick, it will be a bittersweet day.

But with the end of one era starts another anew.
