Postby yfz450man » Tue Sep 15, 2020 7:59 pm

So I’m switching from an auto to a sag 4speed the pedal set is without the pulley So I believe it’s from a newer model but it has a 4 prong plug on it does anyone know what wires go to that ???
I tried posting a pic but it says it’s invalid
Thank y’all

It's probably the clutch pedal safety switch. The pedal needs to be depressed to engage the starter.

Thanks Clyde ! I assumed that much but only thing that has me puzzled is where and what plugs into that I’m thinking the 2 purple wires that came off the auto shifter but there’s 4 spades on that clutch switch

2 spades for normal open, 2 for normal close. use the NO spades so that when you depress the clutch pedal it completes the start circuit.
