these pics let you see my way of strengthening the rear control arms.
I also welded in no hops while setting pinion angle at the same time.
will get pics up of that soon.Oh and I welded in 1/4 inch plate where
the bolts go through too.

I am using a Griffin HP Series Scirrocco,22x13 double pass radiator
Summit part# GRI-2-58185-XC. I had to cut the opening open to fit
it in.I made mounts out of aluminum angle and used rubber mounts
just like the ones holding an MSD box.all hardwear is stainless.
the radiator does not touch the cars body .

Gotta love that color - just like mine. I am finally gonna drag mine oufrom under the boxes and dust and get started again.

You guys have given me new found energy to finish my project.....
I've had this particular Vega since 1990 and it still isn't on the road, just when it gets close I tear it down and start over. I wanted this car in High School (1979) and finally bought it from a friend.

That's a very nice car man. I especially like your fab work on the back. Very clean and well executed :o :)
Any one can restore a car but, it takes a real man to cut one up.
