I am going to make a patch out of 1/8" or maybe even 3/16" plate steel that goes behind the brake m/c (on the outside of firewall) and extending over to the clutch m/c.

great work and looks like the wheels tuck up under the fenders good
what did you do for the rust under the battery area?
keep posting picts,, someday I will get back on mine?
waybad wrote:Thanks for replying,, I have the same problem up front with mine,, funny you should say that about the hood opening and not seeing it,, I didn't notice it (rust repair that was made) until I took my hood off to remove my 4 banger
hopefully the sight of the ls1 will keep the eyes of the repair? or I could just leave a hole there for the hot air to get out of the engine compartment?? or maaayyybe mount a turbo there to hide the ugly .
