Well Jess also a "Contender" this time of year is water from condensation, try a little "Gas Line Anti-Freeze" to alleviate that possibility, 99¢ fix and good insurance either way. Harry

Ya I'll try that Harry.
Engine problems aside, I am really enjoying the new S10 set up and the new stance is close but when the V8 goes in I plan on a tiny bit taller in the front to balance it out

Its been awhile since i updated this project. I got tired of chasing the carb issues so i bought a reman carb from rock auto. I bolted it on,set the idle and the thing runs like new. I haven't done much else but drive it and attend a few car shows and cruises .

Reminds me of the '77 Astre I had in the late '70s.
As soon as the temp hit -20*c it wouldn't start.
-19*c, no problem.
-20*c, forget about it.
When it ran though it was a blast to drive in the winter.
