Wow, those look great, my A pillar trim is fine but my rear inner 1/4 plastic panels beside the rear seats are suffering from too many years of sun exposure. I was stuck with what to do with those when I get to that point and it looks like the stuff you are using might work to fix them.

I never liked how the dash pad was unfinished on the leading edge. It's just one of those things on a lower priced car I guess, but it's these little things that make a difference especially when showing your car. I ended inserting some trim to fill the gap, maybe not the best solution but it certainly looks better than seeing exposed foam.

I see the fugliness you speak of on my car. I will have to try to find some trim that would work there. Shitbox cars

Dash back together after much time passing. Working on the rear window louvers currently and then 29 more interior pieces to refinish (again) :cuss: I have fresh pieces this time round to start with and they are in much better condition than the A pillar trims.

Starting fresh with some of the interior pieces. Round one a few years ago didn't work as planned but I learnt a lot and decided it would easier to use the 1980 ceiling trims I have rather than redoing the original pieces.

Door area of seat belt covers have some sun cratering that needed filling.

Great index, save lots of time looking for particular improvements you have done.

I prob need to update the index I'm sure.

Got my louvers installed. Forgot what a pita they are. Had to make one of the missing mounts. The first set I had were Interpart brand I think. They had long side strips with keyed locks at the bottom. I think they liked to break and this is probably a better idea with 10/32 studs and acorn nuts.

Chris, what are you using to fill the craters in the plastic trim? And you are using a base primer first?

Amazing stuff - flexible, sandable epoxy. A must for any H body restoration. Plastic gets washed with soap and water, wiped with Final Wipe and filled. All materials used must be flexible! Carquest

That interior is looking great! I have to repaint almost of my plastic interior pieces in the future thanks to a previous owner putting their dog in the car...scratches all over the place! This thread also answered a question I hadn’t looked into yet, “does the pillar molding really go over the top of the dash?” I thought it was just mine after someone had removed them and not put them back properly. I think that’s one of the things I would want to change on mine when I get to that point.
