Monza - Skyhawk Fiberglass A pillar trim

Postby David Westfall » Wed Aug 05, 2020 10:40 pm

I got tired of searching for these. So I made a mold to build them. Extremely difficult to tool multi part molds, and difficult to laminate, but they look close to brand new. Great fit. Now on to a fiberglass dash pad.

Texture can be added easy enough. Look great, any plans to make coupe ones?

Thank you, Yes Factory pattern. Copied from 1977 Monza. There are some original GM flaws present, but you have to look very close to see them. After a dye job they should look brand new.

Thank You. Factory pattern is on them it copied well. Are these not the same on a coup, I have not seen a coup interior.

They are different at the top because of the different roof line.

How much for a pair of your hatchback trims?

Hi Zeke, When I built these I intended to use them on my project cars. They are so time consuming to gelcoat, laminate, and trim, I don't think they could be competitively priced. But considering you cant find these anywhere maybe not. I could not find any after market injection molded trim for Monzas. Plenty of Firebird- Camero etc. for up to $200.00 pair. I would have to get $400.00 pair for the Monza. If I can find time to make them.
Thanks, Dave

Hi, These are white. I might sell these on ebay later in the spring. I will post a link if I do.
Thank You
