2nd gen camaro tailights

has any member ever installed 71 to 73 chevy camaro tail lights in a chevy vega. my buddy is doing this now and says he is the only one to ever do this. i thought i saw this done on one of our members builds a few years ago. any pics of this available if this was ever done. thanks Art

Can't remember exactly when, but I remember a Vega in Car Craft probably 20 or more years ago with the round second-gen Camaro taillights in it. Looked good, should've been that way from the factory.

thanks chuck. that is the exact picture i was looking for. im sure there are other vegas with this tail light setup, but this is all i needed to see. that lighting scheme really looks nice. thanks again. PS i dont know how you found that pic. i sure could not find it. Art

Fun fact 72-74 barracuda tail lights are the same diameter as 70-73 2nd gen camaro tail lights as well. Nixvega and I both used cuda tail lights. In my project journal linked above you an see how the camaro panel doesn't fit the best but is a fraction of the price of any mopar part. Also to note that the depth of the camaro lenses might not fit behind the stock interior cover, but with the 'cuda tail lights everything just fits.

theres a car in southern Missouri on Marketplace right now, sort of a basket case but they made a new tail piece with Camaro tail light
