Dave from Dave's Vega village had a 74 or a 75 as well. If no one else knows the answer, he probably would. 604-469-9979.

We are going to be parting out this car as it has sat in a farmers field for the last 5 or so years and it has rusted way to bad to every think about fixing
here are a few parts that we have looked at still to be good:

Motor is all there will sale whole or part out. ( not sure if it runs never tried)
Doors about 80 % very fixable bottoms are ok corners a little rusty
Hatch is is ok surface rust on the inside
Opera windows ( they have 3 diffrent small windows holes ) not to bad look cool
front and rear bumber ( brackets are to rusty to save )

If any one is interested let me know ......we can put prices on things later

Can post some pics of this car?
I am not sure what you mean by a hatcback landau?
Never heard of it or saw one.
Must be aftermarket?

Richard is in need of the aluminum trim that goes around the opera windows.
His trim is missing.
But, his is a coupe?

Any member have a pic of what he is talking about?

I never saw Dave's but I saw a picture. It was a hatchback as well. It still survives around here and recently received a v8 transplant.

Hey, thanks for the pics.
That is what I thought, an aftermarket kit.
I wonder who manufactured it?
It deffinately is rare.

I had a 1974 vega GT Landau brougham back in the 80s
It was a hatchback, with the rally gauges and a 4 spd.
And the three little portholes in a cover that went on the back window.
I had 12 to 1 compression. In the stock 4 cyl.
It was a fun toy. Wish I still had it.
My brother in law at the time. Said that when he worked at the Chevy dealership in 1975 they had one on the lot there. That was in Ames Iowa. He said that was the only
Other one that he had ever seen

I know this is a pretty old topic, but my first car was a 74 Vega with the Landau Brougham kit on it. Back in 77 I went to a Chevy dealer and asked about it, a guy told me they did about 500 of them to try to increase sales. I wish Id have been here when you parted it out, Id have bought them. Im looking at a few Vegas, Ive had 6 so far but want another project. Im going to do the S10 drive train into a Vega, with 4.3, overdrive, rear end, spindles, throttle body and computer, prefer a 71-73. Ive had 3 1974s, a 71, 73, and a 76 Wagon. Put V8s in a couple, built a 4 cylinder for my first one with parts I bought from a company that advertised in Hot Rod Magazine years ago called IECO. I bought sleeved blocks, heads cams, headers etc.
