1971 hood support

Wanting to install a 1971 hood using the factory hood support on my non-1971 and need a picture of where the support mounts to the fenderwell. I haven't had any luck searching, anybody have a picture or two of the support???

I don't have a photo, but there should be a round embossed area on the inner fender panel slightly behind and above the battery.

monzaaddict that is an actual "Sedan Delivery" as there is no provision for the rear seat, those seem to be getting pretty scarce. Thanx for posting! Harry

~ Not so sure that support is for a 71...I remember seeing one that had a "jointed" hinge rather than the solid hinge support displayed in this pic..

Got it mounted up yesterday. I'll try and post a pic later. Pretty simple once I had an idea where it was supposed to be. Just a matter of a nut, bolt, and some washers. Thanks again.

You likely right, 71 the door hinges are different than the later also.

I see from above pic it’s the prop rod that was used for later years hinge looks similar

I misunderstood the original question re the hood prop.
