Input Shaft Spline Count: 30
Input Shaft Diameter: 0.75"
Output Shaft Spline Count: 32 and 4 master

I think the output diameter is not listed because spline is tapered

I did use a mini starter from D&D, but I didn't use the stock exhaust manifolds, I used 1995-2002 4.0 Rover stock tri Y headers they fit the chassis very well. I got lucky and found someone parting a rover near me, nabbed the aluminum valve covers & the Oil pan (that didn't work out)

Jeff,

I did this swap about 6 years ago on my '75 Starfire. Memory is already fuzzy, but what I do remember was that the car went from a 231 v6/th350 power steering car to 215/T5 manual steering setup. The manual steering was planned ahead of time, not because of any known interference issue. I used a mini starter from D&D, again not because of any known issue but because I wanted to ahead of time. The DS manifold had a slight interferance w/ part of the steering shaft - I had about 1/8" milled from the faces of the manifold to create the space (very thin, but enough).

3 years ago I gutted the interior to restore it (your car was an inspiration) - we subsequently moved unexpectedly and then I shifted focus to finishing my '68 Cutlass, so the Starfire has been sitting since w/ the interior still in pieces. I am really busy w/ work and personal stuff but could get pictures of the steering shaft/manifold area maybe as soon as this weekend if it would help you.

Thanks everybody. I have a mini starter on the way and I bought a manual steering box, next problem is the pitman arm. The spline diameter is smaller on the manual box.
