Water pump question

Hi everyone,

Using the front sbc mounts, like Hooker or Transdapt, does it matter if I use an aluminum water pump vs cast iron?

No, it does not, if just for the type of material that the pump is made. There are usually spacers between the pump and the mount plate, so, depending on the thickness of the housing at the bolt holes, you may need to adjust the thickness of the spacers.
