S 10 blazer spindles

Postby boardog » Thu Apr 22, 2021 3:11 pm

I have researched and I have found a couple different options. What year spindles off a 2wd blazer will work on a 77 vega. I already have the ball joint adapters. It appears the 4wd spindles will not work. I have several blazers sitting in a salvage yard near me. Thanks for any help

First thing to figure out for sure is do you have a 6.5 0r 7.5 rear. If you have the 6.5 your out of luck. Early s10 2wd rears 80s up to early 90s with 26 splines.Hope that helps.

Sorry, should have been more clear, I'm asking about the front spindles.

Pretty much any 2WD Blazer spindle will work. I've used both the single-piston and the dual-piston spindles. The dual-piston spindles I had, I made a bracket to install C4 Corvette calipers and rotors on. The photos should still be in my Garage section of this site.

Just be aware while using S10 spindles you'll have to remove the spindle stop on the lower control arms or you'll have the turning radius of a crew cab duallie.
