Famous H bodies

Postby TowPro » Mon Feb 08, 2021 8:10 pm

I guess i got my Love for H bodies as a Kid before I was old enough to drive. I always thought that Vega my parents had in around the mid 70's with that fast back look was something off my 1/32 scale slot car track

But really it was my neighbor Jim Liberman. Back than we did not have AC so we slept with the windows open all summer, every once and a while I could hear this car that sounded like a drag car make a pass on Rt 202.
I never knew him personally but every time we would drive South bound before Darlingtons corners (926 and 202 in Westtown PA) we would be hanging out the window looking for what cars was in his driveway.
I graduated from same school as Pam but was 4 years behind her so I never knew her ether. But we all knew who they were, and we were always thrilled hearing a "test run".

Nice memories to have! Pam is on FB and posts occasionally, several fan groups too.
