Silver and Clear Enamel

Postby HI WINDING MONZA » Thu Jul 02, 2015 7:35 pm

Any spray bomb combo that looks good? Everyone I've seen or tried the silver comes out dull looking. (or is not recommended to clear)

Thanks

If you are referring to regular silver (not chrome paint) you could just get some automotive silver paint in a spray can. Usually those paints are designed to be cleared so you could wet sand and buff it to a high gloss if that is what you are after.

If you are just looking for a good silver colour and not chrome you could try a silver paint
coated with a clear. I did this with good results about ten years ago using Tremclad products,
although I'm sure they have screwed up the the paint to the point of it now being useless.
