I have a '98 4.3 v6 Vortec naturally aspirated in a 75 Vega. The build is in a projects forum under FrankenVega, incase you are interested in what we went through. We're not quite done. No nightmares, so far, good luck.

I just did this swap and it is fairly easy if you have a welder and Ind. metal supply store close. The engine lines up perfectly with the 4 cyl brackets. I picked up 2 6x6x3/16 pre-cut plate and welded directly to the 4 cyl brackets. Then I got 4 or 5 inch triangle 3/16 plate and welded those to the 6x6 plate. Picked up 2 old style SBC engine mounts. The mounts that bolt to the engine with rubber built in, NOT the Clam shell style.

I contacted that company, not very helpful, I asked a question about transmission placement with no response. They want the money up front also, money order only. Not a very good business practice in my eyes.
