Don't ask me why I put these two decals together. I guess it's because I could. The girls like it though. Again don't ask me why. :?

Just got my sway bar yesterday. Painted it this morning. Installed this afternoon. It took me about six months to finely get one at a decent price. (thanks Jon aka rocketride) I haven't had a chance to really test it yet, but I've noticed a difference just climbing into my car. Feels like a rock.

Some pics of my seat installation. I didn't want to make custom brackets, and drill holes in the floor to mount the new sliders. So I decided to use spacers on the stock sliders, and aluminum plates to mount the seats. Which worked perfect on the drivers side. That was until I went to mount the passenger seat. Because the slider was different next to the trans tunnel (raised with drop brackets) it wouldn't work with the 3/8" spacers I used on the drivers side. So I tried 1-3/4" which solved the problem, but raised the seats to much to drive the car. My solution was to make one custom bracket for the passenger seat using the stock holes in the floor. The seat isn't adjustable, but it doesn't need to be.

The new bracket next to the stock one.

The aluminum plate I used to adapt the new seat to the sliders.

Here is the mirror, and tach mounts. I used the 2 visor mounting points, and only had to drill one hole in the roof.

I needed to use a 5panel mirror a panel wagon has a big blind spots. The pic is taken from the drivers seat to show the view. This is the second car that I have used one of these, and I love them. I can look strait ahead, and know where traffic is at all times.

I'm 180# @ 72" and there tight. It took a couple weeks to start fitting nice. But you need narrow to fit a Vega. At the adjusters there is less the a 1/4" clearance on either side. If I remember right, there is only 21" to work with in the car.

I thought I mite post some pics I modified using the paint program. I think everyone has this on there computer. It's kind of like a high tech Etch-A-Sketch. It's a great way to see what something would look on your car before doing it. For example, I really like the white stripe on the car. So I thought red would look even better. I was wrong. It would have been a pain to find that out after it was done.

I really like the white stripe.
016.JPG

The red not so much. It could be just the color of red, but after seeing this there will be no red stripes on my car.
010.JPG

This pic isn't finished yet. It's an idea I came up with a long time ago. I like the idea of filling the grill openings with sheet metal, and having a single opening for cooling. I may make it a split opening to keep with the Pontiac theme. I like the direction the car is going in now, so this is put on hold for now.
006.JPG

This is what I came up with when I was learning to use the program.

I have to agree the white stripes look best, and the sport mirrors are awesome, have to find me some of those when I come across some.
Nice touch with the lower aluminum plate, did you do pattern with a wood dowel and abrasive? Looking good dude.

Thanks, about 1 minute with a round wire brush, and elect drill. The mirror where a little pricey @ $120, but they came panted with new glass and new plastic gaskets.

These are the wheel adaptors I had made from a company on ebay. They let me use 100mm X 4 wheels on my car. The wheels are made for a Nissan 240SX. I went with these wheels to be different, but for what I got they were pretty cheap. Everything I found on ebay. The custom made wheel adaptors were $200, the wheels were $550 new, and the tires were $200 used. Even though the tires were used, only the one below had any wear on it. The other three had all the casting marks still on them. So the grand total was $950!
012.JPG

Can't get much wider then this. Front 215/45-17 on 17X8 wheels, rear 245/40-17 on 17 X 9 wheels. This pic is with Camaro 2" lowering springs on the rear. They lowered the back about 1" or so.
