Pete with Son Jeremy
loading the motor for transport

Pete is now an H-Body expert
he had a 1980 monza in highschool
but never thought he would completely dis-assemble
then re-assemble a monza over 25 years later

Pete is an example of a fine American
He cares, He does the job right, like he was doing it for himself.
the world needs more people like him.

Wow that is pretty sanitary! I am dying to know how he/you cleaned up those overflow/washer bottles, that will certainly make you proud to pop the lid at any show or show n' shine. Pass on our appreciation for the quality he is lavishing on your Baby (car) that makes us all proud when one turns out that well! And it is great that he is prepping the next generation. :th: Harry

monza harry:
the washer fluid jug and overflow resevoir are new.
thanx for the compliments.

Clyde:
i had all heater and A/C elements removed
i agree it looks very empty and odd.
but no one will ever see it except the folks on hbody forum
and a handfull of friends.

i dont do shows
and it will get driven very little
so A/C and heater elements are not needed.
( i did the same to the 69 charger )

dave:)

my gas tank was dented, and very bad looking.
H-Body member Clyde Biagi totally restored it
and used his favorite paint "TANK TONE" from eastwood.
i added the USS steel (faux stamp recreation ) and anti-squeak strips
as well as anti rattling sponge pad.
i call clyde "The Monza Guru"...because it is true.
THANX CLYDE !!!

Ahh, the "tank tone paint", yeah that was fun. For whatever reason I had a lot of trouble with that paint, I forget exactly what the issue was but I know I said I would never use it again. I think it was sputtering and spitting coming out of the can. With that said, I spent a lot of time on Dave's tank getting all the dents out and smoothed out. However it did turn out very nice. I have also found a ton of NOS parts for Dave as well as refinished a lot of aluminum trim. Dave and I have worked very closely on this car, it's nice to see it getting close to completion.

Yes, i should have kept a list of all the Very Rare parts clyde has found for me.
I have learned H-Body parts are very rare,

it is easy to build a wildly popular car like camaro-mustang-etc.
because virtually everything is available.......not the case with H-Bodies.

Clyde has found the almost impossible to find parts for me and he is very knowledgeable
about H-Bodies..that is why i call him the monza guru.
thanks clyde.
